If there is something I love, it’s hosting workshops. The connection with other humans and the positive energy really boosts my energy! The workshop “At the table” at Dala-Floda in Dalarna has to be a favorite of mine! This workshop was initiated by Agnes and her and I planned and created it together. Agnes is a colleague of mine and runs the popular food blog “Cashew Kitchen”. We also asked Linda Lomelino from “Call me Cupcake” to join us and host a workshop about food styling & photography, and Rania from Northbound Photography to take some photos and film a bit from the weekend at Dala-Floda.
In this workshop we focused on the different parts of storytelling through food photography. Things as styling props, colors and composition – including the angle of the camera, to mention a few of the subjects we addressed. It was a smaller and more intimate workshop and it also felt so personal, like you befriended the participants on a whole other level. The connection was stronger, and the time we had for each question and subject was also greater. The workshop was sponsored by Saltå Kvarn and Broste Copenhagen. The participants all had a welcome bag with lots of lovely treats from Saltå Kvarn waiting for them in their room, and att the dinner time day 2 they were surprised with a styling props gift from Broste Copenhagen!
Per & Evalotta who runs Dala-Floda Inn /Dala-Floda Värdshus) was there supporting us all the way in whatever way we needed and I highly recommend visiting them should you ever have the opportunity!
Below are some photos from the workshop, some are mine and some are shot by the talented Rania from Northbound Photography!
